Material Damage Reviewer
 

Position Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for utilizing standardized procedures, receives calls from repair facilities and customers and completes evaluation according to the terms and conditions of the policy to ensure cost effectiveness and meeting customer needs. This position is an inside/remote position.
 

  • Review highly predictive estimates based off computer analytics to drive estimate
    accuracy.

  • Desk review appraisal costs for parts, materials, and labor necessary to restore
    vehicles to their pre-loss condition.

  • Decides and negotiates with repair shops, independent appraisers, policyholders, or
    claimants to inspect vehicles. Photographs damaged areas and writes estimates on all
    claims when nece
    ssary.

  • Document all activities regarding estimate, repairs, and evaluation.

  • Provide claims personnel with expert advice on vehicle repair, total losses, and opinion
    on whether specific damage is related to an accident.

  • Assist in developing new claim representatives in all things material damage.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Position Qualifications:
 

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Appraising and Estimating.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education

  • Knowledge of CCC estimating systems.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

  • Bonus points for Bilingual - English and Spanish

  • Great negotiation and analytical skills

  • Self-managed, motivated, and confident

  • A solid team player.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • I-Car Certification a plus

  • TX Adjusters License a plus
